Oishi marked its third year of treating snack lovers to another activity-filled event that lets them inside the wonderful world of Oishi.
Oishi Snacktacular is an annual extravaganza where customers can enjoy different activity stations where they can sample and win various Oishi products. This year’s 8-bit inspired fete still included the Make Your Own Snack Booth where you could customize your own bag of Oishi and Snack Shack where you are given a chance to fill up an 2 ft. Oishi giant pack with as many Oishi products as you could in under a minute. While others enjoyed the soft serve ice cream version of Choco Chug at the O-Twirl and sipped on cool and refreshing slush versions of Smart C+, many lined up for their turn at the Oishi Snack Catcher, where they were hoisted, dipped into a pool of Oishi products, and were allowed to grab as many snacks as they could. New to Oishi Snacktacular was the Cuckoo Blaster booth where one had to wear the cuckoo suit and catch as many balls as they could.
This year’s Snacktacular was made even more exciting with the 70th anniversary celebration of Liwayway Marketing Corporation, the company behind Oishi. An exhibit was shown in the venue that featured the different Oishi products all over the world such as Pillows Buko from Vietnam, Pods Manchurian Style from India.
The Maine Event
The highlight of Oishi Snacktacular was the launch of Maine Mendoza as the newest endorser of Oishi Cracklings and latest member of Team O. “She’s a great addition to the team because she’s down-to-earth and always game,” said Shera Tiu. “Maine is a fun person and her expressive face makes her the perfect match for the intense anghasim flavors of Oishi Cracklings.”
Maine joins the lively and high spirited group of endorsers who make up Team O: Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, Elmo Magalona, Slater Young, Alex Gonzaga and Ramon Bautista.
